Meet The Team...
Chief Executive: Andrew Coutts
Andrew founded IFC in 2017 after a five year role with Fertility Network UK. He works closely with IFC’s clinic, product and support partners and his main interests are fertility travel and male factor (in)fertility. Andrew is a former fertility patient. He is currently a PhD research student at the Centre for Reproduction Research at the Du Montfort University. Read more about Andrew here.
Medical Director: Dr Rami Wakim
Dr Wakim is an internationally acclaimed fertility specialist with over 25 years experience in reproductive health. Dr Wakim joined the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2000 and continued fertility training with a clinical fellowship at the University College London Hospital (UCLH) and the Imperial College London. He has worked with some of the leading fertility clinics across the world
Emotional Support Specialist: Kelly Da Silva
Kelly is a former teacher, fertility patient and qualified Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Practitioner.
Working with a leading UK Fertility Provider, Kelly has developed and delivered a range of emotional support offerings to improve 'Patient Support' to a level recognised by the HFEA as a 'Gold Standard for Support'. Kelly shares best practice at conferences, speaks at events and provides consultancy and training to other fertility clinics and professionals, including working with the Royal College of Nursing, to write clinical guidance on patient support.
Cross Border Fertility Treatment Specialist: Anneke Janssen
Anneke is a very experienced fertility practitioner and has worked across the globe, advising both patients and treatment providers about international fertility options. A regular speaker and contributor at multinational expos and conferences Anneke represents IFC across Europe. Anneke is based in the Netherlands.
International Complimentary Medical Specialist: Mike Berkley
Mike Berkley is the Founder and Director of The Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness in New York City. He is licensed and Board Certified in Acupuncture in New York State and certified in Chinese herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Mike was the first acupuncturist/herbalist in the U.S. to work exclusively in the field of reproductive medicine. Mike represents IFC in New York and is available for private face to face and remote consultations.
International Complementary Medical Specialist (Europe): Anga González
Anga is a Chinese Medicine Fertility Expert, Acupuncturist, Functional Medicine and Nutrition Coach. She has been providing personalised complementary fertility programmes to patients since 2002. A graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, Anga represents IFC in Barcelona, London and California
Creative Director: Georgina Burns
Georgina is a professional Photographer/Videographer and Designer. She has run a successful Photography Studio - Georgina Flambert Photography for over 15 years, as well as video and design work on a freelance basis - Georgina Flambert Design. Georgina has been working with the International Fertility Company (IFC) and its partners for a number of years, filming and editing videos, as well as designing and producing the IFC website.
Patient to Patient Advisor: Pamela Mackenzie
Pamela manages IFC’s social media platforms and provides one to one help and advice to patients considering travelling for treatment. She is a fertility patient and experienced lots of ups and downs over 18 years before finally conceiving her son with donor embryos in Prague
Filmmaker: Tom Webb
Tom is a freelance filmmaker who creates corporate and brand films as well as short films, short form documentaries and feature projects. Tom's debut feature documentary, ‘The Easy Bit’ focused on the male perspective of fertility treatment and the emotional impact infertility has on men. It can be found on Amazon Prime Video and Vimeo On Demand. Tom also wrote a blog with his wife charting their own journey through fertility treatment called ‘Journey to the Far Side of the Womb’. Tom's personal experiences with fertility treatment and filmmaking expertise allows him to create video content that is both informative and empathetic.
